Event Description:
This program is in conjunction with PPHM’s Native Lifeways of the Plains exhibition and will focus on Native American cultural traditions and how those are respected and carried into contemporary time. Speakers will include an artist featured in the exhibition whose works are part of several museum collections including the Gilcrease Museum, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Rockwell Museum, Corning, New York, Heard Museum, Phoenix, Arizona, Eiteljorg Museum, Indianapolis, Indiana, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Santa Fe, New Mexico. This discussion is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided.
