The Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA) at WT, WTAMU's Distinguished Lecture Series, and Hispanic Heritage Month presents Mr. Miguel Palomares' talk on "How to Snag a High Paying Career at Some of the Most Distinguished Companies in the World!" Mr. Miguel Palomares is a speaker, author, and a career coach who migrated from Mexico. He serves as a career coach for business leaders in the Central Valley and a career mentor to students across the nation through his consulting company. As an aspiring “dreamer” and “first generation student” he obtained a B.S. from Brown University, Summer Management Program Certificate at Stanford University, and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University. He also authored two books: “Dream to Achieve: A Practical Guide to Pursue Your Goals, Dreams, and Aspirations” and “Investing in all Aspects of your Life” (in press). His books train first generation and Hispanic students to accomplish career goals to achieve career success, while dealing with substantial personal, economic, and social-cultural obstacles. Mr. Palomares has delivered notable talks for the Ivy League Project, Proven Achievement. Lifelong Advantage., Hispanic Scholarship Fund, Doctors Academy, Hispanic Central California Chamber of Commerce, and ALPFA.
