Event Description:
Dr. Amy Von Lintel, WTAMU Associate Professor of Art History, will explore the writings Georgia O?Keeffe penned from Canyon, Texas between 1914 and 1916, in light of the war and the American home front. This material comes from her forthcoming book, A Voice from the West: Georgia O?Keeffe?s Texas Letters and WWI in America, to be published by Texas A&M University Press in Spring 2020. A special reception will precede the lecture. Tickets are free to FOSA members and $35 to non-members and are available at panhandleplains.org.
