Chase the Sunset
Event Description:
On Saturday, August 12th, High Plains Public Radio & Amarillo Art Institute invite kids of the High Plains to “CHASE THE SUNSET” with a celebration of art, music, and nature to bid the summer a final farewell. From 6pm to sunset, kids can enjoy a variety of fun activities to spark their creativity and curiosity, including painting, ceramics, sculpture, trivia, education, a nature walk, stories, and more! At sunset, we’ll get down with some glow’tastic dancing, welcoming the moon and stars. Plus, we’ll have snacks, drinks, prizes, games, and more! Bid the summer FAREWELL as you “CHASE THE SUNSET” in Palo Duro Canyon, with High plains Public Radio and Amarillo Art Institute. ****SPACE IS LIMITED, and reservations are required for attendance.
